Who is Maria Hermosa?

A single mother of two, Maria runs her own eatery called Kamayan sa Kawayan (Not a literal translation: Eating at the Bamboo) in Palanyag City in the Philippines.Besides caring for her twin babies, she also helps her community. She also works as a vigilante known as Sansinukob. Along with three friends, they form the group known as The Sentinels. They protect the world from large-scale threats.But big battles and alien threats are not the only predators she must fight. Closer to home, a wealthy businessman covets her ancestral property to turn it into a modern townhouse, and leave her family homeless.

TALA & CASTOR are Maria's children. They cause all kinds of mischief, but is behaved most of the time. They like Fruit Loops.CESAR is an employee (the only one) at Kamayan sa Kawayan. He also sometimes babysits for her. He is a good cook.RACHEL is Maria's babies' babysitter. She lives across Maria's house with her grandmother. She is in senior high school.ENTROPY is a mysterious figure that she has encountered on a few occasions throughout her life. It seems that he does so whenever there is great turmoil.BULA is Maria's friend who works as a marine biologist. She likes to collect seashells.BUHANGIN is Maria's friend. He is very close to Bula and is a veterinarian.

SANSINUKOB is the alias Maria goes by. She is the team's leader and ambassador for public appearances, and cooperation with authorities. She has cosmic powers that she can use to imbue on objects or shoot out of her hands. She can fly and lift objects many thousands of times her weight.SHINIGAMI is the alias of Miyahira Hisashi. He is the second in command and field leader. The flaming katana is his weapon, alongside the demonic mempo that allows him to turn into a being of terror. He is swift and precise.KAMAHARLIKAAN or simply "Maharlika" is the alias of Dante Lakandula. He has the ability to sprout angelic wings and generate electricity through pain. He is able to lift many times his weight like Maria.CRYOMAGUS is the alias of Edward Thompson. He is a sorcerer that uses the power of ice and frost to his advantage. He also has a trusty sidekick in his trained Siberian Husky, Storm.

GOD OF WAR
Marikit is a diwata (deity) to her people. She was an anomaly, even for the standards of her pantheon. Her powers relate to nature, and extended even beyond the planet, as she is able to tell when shooting stars will appear. She possesses superhuman strength and durability. She also is knowledgeable in various trades.While most deity resided in Kaluwalhatian, she resided with mortals and lived as one of them as a peaceful diwata, but a warrior when needed. Unlike them, she proactively aided her people. Because of this, her people regarded her as the Goddes of People, Community and Harmony.

GHOST OF TSUSHIMA
Marikit is a Katalonan (shaman) of her people. But unlike the Katalonan who trained her, Marikit did not stay in one place, therefore going against tradition. While she was not shunned for this, since she was still Katalonan, the other Katalonan looked down on her. She was important to her people due to her accurate predictions and ability to appease the anito. (Nature spirits)
